OddHourCare is a private nurse practitioner-led clinic, and services are not covered by OHIP. Most appointments are privately paid at the time of service. Some patients may be able to submit receipts to their private insurance plans for reimbursement, depending on their coverage. We recommend checking with your insurance provider to confirm eligibility for nurse practitioner services.

Standard Care is $65 (30 minutes), Comprehensive Care is $110 (45 minutes), and Specialized Consultation is $140 (1 hour). Some forms and specialist referrals have an added fee. The full list is on our pricing page and in the booking portal before you schedule.

Appointment availability depends on the type of visit requested. In many cases, new and follow-up appointments are available within a few days, with additional evening and weekend options based on availability.

Yes. You will see the same nurse practitioner for continuity of care at each visit, which helps ensure consistent, personalized, and well-coordinated care over time.

Nurse practitioners are advanced practice registered nurses who can independently assess, diagnose, order and interpret tests, prescribe medications, and manage many acute and chronic health conditions. At OddHourCare, your nurse practitioner provides virtual primary care, including support for common medical concerns, chronic disease management, women's health, menopause care, and preventive wellness. When needed, referrals to specialists are arranged.

We see adolescents 16+ and adults.

Yes. OddHourCare is a virtual clinic only. All appointments are conducted securely through a PHIPA- and PIPEDA-compliant video platform.

If you would like your medical records shared with OddHourCare, you can request that your previous healthcare provider or clinic send them directly to us through secure medical channels. During your first visit, we can also help guide you through the process of requesting your records from your previous provider if needed.

Yes. Many patients choose to access private virtual care alongside their existing family doctor for convenience, extended access, or specific health concerns such as women's health, menopause, or wellness support. OddHourCare is a private nurse practitioner-led clinic and does not replace your primary care provider. We can collaborate with your existing healthcare team when appropriate and with your consent.

New patients: book Comprehensive Care ($110, 45 minutes) for your first visit. If you only have a cold, flu, infection, or rash, or need immunization guidance, Standard Care ($65, 30 minutes) is enough, and includes a sick note if you need one. Returning patients: book Standard Care for one concern or one form, or Comprehensive Care for more than one concern or an insurance, long-term disability, ODSP, or WSIB form. For women's health and menopause, complex senior care, or pain management, book Specialized Consultation ($140, 1 hour). Most forms have a fee on top of the visit, listed under Medical Forms on our pricing page.

Every visit includes your assessment and any requisitions or prescriptions you need, plus a basic sick note if you need one. A return-to-work note is also included at no extra cost: returning patients can get one with Standard Care, and new patients with Comprehensive Care. Other forms, such as employment or insurance forms, are completed during a Standard Care or Comprehensive Care visit, and the completed form is released once any applicable form fee has been paid.

A requisition is an order for tests or imaging, like bloodwork, an X-ray, or an MRI. A prescription is an order for medication, sent to your pharmacy or given to you directly. Both are for you and are included in your visit. A form is paperwork requested by a third party, like an employer, school, or insurer. Completing it means reviewing your history with you and reporting it to that third party, so most forms are priced separately.

Before a form can be completed, your nurse practitioner needs to assess you and review your history. That happens during a visit: Standard Care ($65) for returning patients, or Comprehensive Care ($110) for new patients. Insurance, long-term disability, ODSP, and WSIB forms always need Comprehensive Care ($110). The completed form is released once any applicable form fee has been paid. Keeping these separate means pricing is fixed and predictable, so you always know what you're paying for before you book. ODSP medical packages and WSIB forms are billed to the government.

Notes, forms, requisitions, prescriptions, and visit summaries are released once payment for your visit and any forms is complete. If a balance is outstanding, your documents will be held until it is paid.
