OddHourCare is a private nurse practitioner-led clinic, and services are not covered by OHIP. Most appointments are privately paid at the time of service. Some patients may be able to submit receipts to their private insurance plans for reimbursement, depending on their coverage. We recommend checking with your insurance provider to confirm eligibility for nurse practitioner services.

Appointment availability depends on the type of visit requested. In many cases, new and follow-up appointments are available within a few days, with additional evening and weekend options based on availability.

Yes. You will see the same nurse practitioner for continuity of care at each visit, which helps ensure consistent, personalized, and well-coordinated care over time.

Nurse practitioners are advanced practice registered nurses who can independently assess, diagnose, order and interpret tests, prescribe medications, and manage many acute and chronic health conditions. At OddHourCare, your nurse practitioner provides virtual primary care, including support for common medical concerns, chronic disease management, women's health, menopause care, and preventive wellness. When needed, referrals to specialists are arranged.

We see adolescents 16+ and adults.

Yes. OddHourCare is a virtual clinic only. All appointments are conducted securely through a PHIPA- and PIPEDA-compliant video platform.

If you would like your medical records shared with OddHourCare, you can request that your previous healthcare provider or clinic send them directly to us through secure medical channels. During your first visit, we can also help guide you through the process of requesting your records from your previous provider if needed.

Yes. Many patients choose to access private virtual care alongside their existing family doctor for convenience, extended access, or specific health concerns such as women's health, menopause, or wellness support. OddHourCare is a private nurse practitioner-led clinic and does not replace your primary care provider. We can collaborate with your existing healthcare team when appropriate and with your consent.
